A group of Jewish genealogists has hired translators in Lithuania to translate the vital records for Jonava held in Lietuvos Valstybes Istorijos Archyvas
(Lithuanian State Historical Archives) in Vilnius. The earliest death records are from 1854.
Below is a list of records of people related to the family of Solomon Isaac and Rivka Gitel that I have extracted from the Jonava records.
Many of these records have also been microfilmed by the Church of the Latter Day Saints and are available at their libraries,
